Our Artists

Posted on January 10, 2013 by Allan Restrepo

Happy New Year!  Our first few months of business have been a blast.  With a little bit of work, a whole lot of talent from our partners, and the trust and loyalty of our customers we're off to a great start.

We're fortunate to work with the finest custom painters in the world.  We mean that.  Before we launched our company we researched painters from everywhere to find a few that we felt had the chops to meet our expectations.  So please allow us to  briefly introduce you to them here.

Chemical Candy Customs

Scott Hoepker considers himself a full time custom painter and photographic novice.  We consider him as simply one of the finest artists we have ever worked with.  It's as simple as that.  He is the consumate professional.  His designs are one-of-a-kind and his attention to detail is unmatched.  He was the very first artist that we partnered with and he has been instrumental in helping us build our business.

And to make matters even better, he works right around the corner from our offices.  We had no idea!  Fortune played in our favor.

Scott was recently featured on the Discovery Channel's 2012 Biker Build Off as the painter for the Fast and Loud team and his work has been featured in several magazines.  He's also been commissioned to design helmets for a large, well known brand.

You can see more of his work by visiting his blog or Instagram page.  If you do, let him know we sent you.

The Imperial House

Shawn Long is the man behind Imperial House.  We think he's another top notch artist and we're proud to be associated with him.  In his own words, he is a " One man show, trying to keep things fresh and original! If I had to title myself, I would simply choose the word "artist", because I love it all: pinstriping, lettering, fabrication, logo design, tattoo work, welding, so on and so on!"

Not sure we could have said it better ourselves.  Shawn's work is something else.  When our owner rides and has one of his lids on, he gets everything from honks to thumbs up and even the occasional shout from the window.  Usually it's some expletive-filled, maniacal rant that involves words like sick, awesome, bitchin' etc...

Old School Helmets

Josh Scott runs Old School helmets and is located in Southern California.  He's got a unique style and specializes in providing top quality paint jobs for helmets, bikes, skate decks etc...  He was one of our first partners (factoid:  the first helmet we ever sold was painted by Josh) and his distressed styled lids are some of our most popular helmets.  In short, he's a badass.

Check back with us again soon and we'll tell you more about some new friends that we are partnering with.  In the mean time, we'd like to say thanks again to all of the artists who have helped make our jobs easy.  We're in awe of your talent and can't wait to see what you paint for our customers next.
